I want you to remember this one thing.

As we close out 2016, there is one thing that I would like you to know…

You, yes You, are fighting battles that others may know nothing about, but if I can give you any comfort today let it be, this race may be yours, but it is all for His glory.

When I created Life Wonderfully Designed, my t-shirt line, I really had no clue the direction I wanted to take the company. However, I did know that I wanted to design something that women could wear and it would be a reminder of Gods love for them. As a mother, wife, business owner, nurse, and countless other hats I wear, I know how difficult it can be to remain focused on holding it all together. Can you relate?

Days seem endless, piles of laundry, running children to activities and helping with homework, theres little time at the end of the day to spend on anything I would like to do. There are days I feel so lost and behind that I can’t imaging taking on more to-do items. If you feel this way as well know that,

I am praying for YOU.

Stay strong. Hold tight to God’s hand. He walks before us and knows what lies ahead. Trust your journey. It is not for anyone else, therefore you may have plenty of nay-sayers, and thats okay. Jesus designed your life wonderfully and never, NEVER, makes mistakes.

On a daily basis, I try to read Jesus Calling first thing in the morning. Of course, probably just like you, I get up and my days aren’t always as smooth as I plan. Usually there is an unforeseen circumstance that I have no control over and need to work it into my day. I can either fight this, get angry, throw in the towel, or handle it totally different by trusting God.

I’ve started trusting in God more. When things happen outside of my control, I tell myself, “okay God, I will put this in your hands and not allow it to ruin my morning, day, month, etc.” Just knowing that my creator created me for more and is always with me has given me more comfort than anything right now. My husband is a great man and can tell when I am getting stressed or worried, but not even all the security he can offer me would match what Jesus can offer.

Four some of you ladies reading this, you may know Jesus and others may not. My prayer is that you will ask him to be your security for what ever it is you’re struggling with. He has dried my tears both happy and sad, wrapped me in his arms, rocked me to sleep, carried me through raging storms I thought would never end, as well as made me smile by the slightest sign while I was driving or even cooking dinner. God speaks to all us in different ways and he knows exactly how to speak to each of us. Remember that. For me, its through his word and praise and worship by listening to songs. Its a beautiful thing! Out of nowhere Ill be driving and a song will come on and tears will start streaming down my face. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Thats all I can say.

Today, take some time to sit in his presence and realize that you are loved. When you realize that you were made in his image and pleasing him and living for God is the only thing that matters at the end of the day, it will give you so much relief.

God doesn’t care about the latest purses, the amount of make-up you were, what you weigh, or even the size of your bank account; he looks a the heart. Your heart. My heart. Be happy, grateful, smile, and tell Jesus thank you.

God is good all the time regardless of what you are facing.

If I was there with you I would wrap my arms around you and give you a giant hug. Over coffee or your favorite drink as we sit and chat and sip and laugh. It would be great. We could talk about life, kids, goals, and Jesus most of all. I love meeting new ladies and encouraging them in their walk with God. He is so good!

Since there is distance between us, I will pray for you as you continue your daily walk and start a new year with new goals, and a new peace.

Our gift from him is peace everlasting not on this earth but in our eternal home above. Surrender everything to him and watch how your life will change. I promise you it is so worth it.

Lets stay connected and let me know what some of your struggles are and how you are going to trust Jesus more. Leave me a comment, I would love to hear your thoughts. Until next time…
